With the Season 7 Premiere of "Bones" right around the corner, fans of Eric Millegan, formerly known as "Zack Addy", began wondering what Eric was up to and whether there was any sign he would be returning to the show. So, we caught up with Eric, and he was so kind as to grant us an interview. While it seems that there is no indication right now that he will be returning to "Bones", we did discover some other things that we can see Eric in, while we wait anxiously for his return to "Bones".

The Interview

On your birthday in August, you met up with "Bones" cast members, TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, and Michaela Conlin. What was it like seeing your former castmates again?

“It was terrific. They are wonderful people. I love them very much.”

You had mentioned before doing another Cabaret in NYC in 2012. Is that still planned? If so, when do you think it will happened? After all, some fans may want to make the trip to NY to see you!

“Yes, the plan is to do a cabaret show sometime in 2012. I will twitter about it once the date is set. It would be awesome to have my fans there.”

Okay, fans of Eric out there -- can I say ROAD TRIP!! I bet you will have lots of your fans attending that show! We heard that you have a new place in Malibu. How do you like it? What is it like?

“It's great. Ocean view. The air is very relaxing. It's a modest one bedroom apartment. We have a fireplace which I love.”

Now that you've gotten the new apartment in Malibu, are you making your home in CA? Or, are you still living 1/2 of the time in NY?

“I'm making my home in Malibu for now.”

What are you currently working on?

“Well, a couple things. Of course, I'm auditioning for all kinds of jobs- pilots, voice overs, etc. Pilot season only a few months away. That's when they cast the potential TV shows for next fall. Secondly, I'm starting to plan my cabaret show for 2012. After I did my show in 2000, I decided I would do one every four years. I'm going to do all music I haven't done before. Not sure when I'll do the show bit it will be sometime next year in New York City. I'm looking forward to it. ”

And, who are your biggest influences as an actor?

“Gosh, I don't know. I'm always trying to forge my own path and be different than everyone else.”

How are you feeling lately? Several new pictures of you have been posted, and everyone is saying that you look very good.

“Thanks. I'm feeling pretty good. The move to Malibu has been great. As I said before, t's very relaxing.”

Do you have a movie/book/poem/song/tv show/event/idea that you'd love to see done as a theatrical/musical production(as well as for you to star in of course!)?

“Not specifically. I wish I could give you a good answer to that question but I'm more interested in interpreting other people's ideas. One project that came up a few years ago was a biopic about Paul Jabara. I would simply love to play Paul. He had an amazing career and a singer, actor, writer, director, and composer. He was in the original casts Hair and Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway. He won and Oscar for writing the Donna Summer song "Last Dance." I've been approached about playing Paul and I think that would be the role of a lifetime.”

So that concludes our interview. Thank you so much, Eric, for taking the time to talk to us. All Bring Back Zack supporters out there -- please, please continue to push for Zack's return. Season 7 is going to be a crazy and weird season -- who knows, it just may be the season when Zack will finally be brought back :-)
